Oncology treatments
in Platt, Sevenoaks

Magnolia Wellbeing logo

Please note these treatments are available to people who have cancer, a history of cancer, palliative care and degenerative illness and their carers.

Many people are apprehensive about the safety of massage or reflexology during and after cancer treatment. Complementary Alternative Medicine is becoming more widely available and popular to support and complement conventional medical treatment.

Being diagnosed with cancer or any other chronic illness has a mental and physical effect on your wellbeing, causing stress, anxiety, nausea and pain.

Both massage and reflexology are non-invasive therapies which are dedicated for people with cancer and their carers. The treatment can be adapted to people of all ages and any cancer.

Oncology Therapies should only be carried out by a therapist who has been specially trained to carry out massage and reflexology on people undergoing treatment or who have a history of cancer.

I have trained in both Oncology Reflexology and Oncology Massage gaining Diplomas at the Middlesex School of Complementary Medicine in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Each Diploma required 20 case studies to be completed.

If you are interested in having either a reflexology or massage treatment, please contact Anne Self at Magnolia Wellbeing. Please note that I will follow any advise and guidance given to you by your medical professionals. Prior to treatment I would ask that you check with your Oncologist, Consultant or Cancer Nurses if they are happy for you to have reflexology and any areas they feel should be avoided.

In my treatments I use Flying Wild Organic Balms. There are vegan balms if you prefer.
